The Irish American Heritage Center’s Library hosts Irish American author John A. Farrell this spring to discuss and sign his award-winning 2017 book, "Richard Nixon: The Life".
"Richard Nixon: The Life" delivers a rich, precise portrait of Richard M. Nixon, one of the most complex, complicated and fascinating presidents of the modern age. The book is meticulously researched, finely crafted and offers fresh revelations about the brilliant, but flawed man and career politician.
John Aloysius Farrell is the author of Richard Nixon: The Life, which won the PEN America award for best biography, and the New-York Historical Society book prize for the best volume of American history of 2017. He has worked as a journalist for The Boston Globe, where he served as White House correspondent and on the award-winning Spotlight team.
"Richard Nixon: The Life": An Evening with John A. Farrell is Thursday, April 26 at 7pm and is free.
