Author Karl Geary comes to the IAHC to read from and sign his debut novel, "Montpelier Parade". The book is a quietly powerful account of an adolescent boy’s coming of age.
Unfolding in rain-soaked Dublin in the 1980’s, "Montpelier Parade" is a cinematic novel about longing, grief, hope and the things that remain unspoken. Join us as Geary reads from the novel that the Irish Times calls “Luminous. . . . Brilliantly paced, full of tension and tenderness”.
Geary was born in Dublin and moved to New York City when he was sixteen. He has worked as a scriptwriter and actor and lives in Glasgow with his wife and daughter.
An Evening with Author Karl Geary is Tuesday, September 26 at 7pm and is free.
